AZ91C T6

Verifiedmetal

AZ91C is a magnesium-aluminum-zinc casting alloy heat-treated to T6 condition (solution heat-treated and artificially aged), providing improved strength and creep resistance for aerospace and structural applications requiring lightweight castings. T6 temper delivers typical yield strengths of 160–170 MPa with moderate elongation (3–5%), suitable for service up to approximately 150°C, commonly produced via investment and sand casting per AMS 4437 and AMS 4452.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
